The Word of God is the Basis of Who We Are and All We Do

We believe that a key part of the development of a healthy Body Life is obedience to God's Word, the Bible, as a foundation for life and practice.  This is evident in our preaching and encouraged in the daily spiritual life of every Christ follower.

Your Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.  Psalm 119:105

The Pursuit of a Spirit-Filled Life

At Westview, it is our desire to see every person reach spiritual maturity and vibrancy, where they experience intimacy and power through a vibrant relationship with Christ, by His Spirit, so as to reach the full measure of Christ.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Relationships are Foundational to Life and Ministry

As a part of the Body of Christ, it is vital that we are loving and living with each other in such a way that there is reliance upon the Spirit, mutual edification, interdependence and the use of our spiritual gifting.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing,
but let us encourage one another.  Hebrews 19:24-25

Commitment to Multiplication of Disciples, Groups and Churches

At Westview, we are committed to seeing our people be "all in", taking spiritual responsibility for themselves, their family, neighborhood, workplace, and in some meaningful way, the world.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  Matthew 28:19-20
